After
graduating, she furthered her career in track and field with the goal to
compete in the 2008 Olympic Games. In 2006, Antoinette injured her achilles
tendon during practice at the time she was pursuing her goal to be a world
champion. Because of injury, she was forced to give up her dream to be a 2008
Olympic champion. Today, Antoinette is rehabbing her injury and preparing for
the 2012 Olympic Games held in the United Kingdom. She is a devoted athlete who
is determined to be number 1. Antoinette is not only making move on the track,
she’s an entrepreneur.
In 2003, Antoinette had an idea that she believed will
help bring recognition and attention to the sport of track and field. With help
from her fellow teammates and competitors, she started a company called
Trackbunniesllc. She believes if she can break the mold of the individuality
concept by bringing together the athletes, then the sport of track and field
will benefit in ways we can never imagine.
